Between 4 and 5 pm the giant cruise ships leave Miami. They pass you really close at South Pointe.

Beautiful renaissance Mansion with a wonderful garden. Perfect location for some new photos.

Here you will find a great listing of Florida attractions. Whereby you can completely ignore the points 10 and 73. Rather watch dolphins in their natural habitat. The Keys are one of the best places for watching marine wildlife in Florida. I have already seen some dolphins in Key Largo and Islamorada.

Those hundred years old oak trees are marvelous.

- Jackson Square
The beating center of French Quarter. There is always something going on hier.
- Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve
Just enjoy Louisiana’s unique nature here on your own.
- Lafayette Cemetery No. 1
I recommend a guided tour, so you can perceive all the details.
Supposedly the oldest bar in the U.S. named after pirate Jean Lafitte. If only those walls could talk.
- New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA)
Varied exhibition. The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden right next to the NOMA is worth a visit as well.
- St. Louis Cathedral
The oldest catholic cathedral in the U.S.
- Swamp Tour
Wild pigs actually living here in the swamps.
- Whitney Plantation
According to my research you get the most authentic tour regarding the life of the slaves here. Very educational.
